Letting Go Without Anger

A reflection on soft release
I used to think letting go had to come with anger.
With closure.
With answers.
With something that made it make sense.
But not everything ends that way.
Some things just… complete.
Without a conversation.
Without an explanation.
Without a clear ending.
And healing taught me that’s okay.
I’ve learned that sometimes we don’t get the answer.
And even though that can feel hard, it doesn’t always mean something bad happened.
Sometimes when doors close, it is not rejection.
Sometimes it is redirection.
I look at it as God having bigger plans for me.
And sometimes, that has to be enough.
Enough to let go.
Enough to release the need to understand everything.
Enough to trust that what is meant for me will not require me to lose myself to keep it.
Letting go doesn’t mean I don’t feel it.
I still allow myself to deal with the emotions.
I still allow myself to feel what comes up.
But I send it light, I release what I can, and I continue to work on me.
Letting go doesn’t always mean something went wrong.
Sometimes it means it’s simply no longer aligned.
And that kind of release…
feels quiet.
But powerful.
Take what resonates.
Leave the rest.
